The Annual Meeting of Labor Science Education Branch of the China Association For Labor Studies is successfully held in Zhuhai

At Nov. 18th to 20th, 2011 annual meeting of labor science education branch of the China Association For Labor Studies (ALS) successfully held in Beijing Normal University Zhuhai campus, which is presented by labor science education branch of the China Association For Labor Studies, contracted by school of Economics and Business Administration of Beijing Normal University, supported by International Business faculty of Beijing Normal University, Zhuhai. The theme of the annual meeting is "Employment Distribution Protection ----Transformation in economic development pattern and labor market construction during the period of the 12th Five-Year Plan ", and more than 180 teaching and research personnel from almost 60 universities across the country participated in this annual meeting, with a total of 120 papers submitted.
 
Vice chairman of the ALS, chairman of labor science education branch in the ALS, dean of school of Labor and Human Resources in RUC, Prof. Zeng Xiangquan gave an annual report on behalf of the labor science education branch as well as a brief introduction of the theme for this annual meeting. Professor Chen Guangju, Vice President of Beijing Normal University, President of BNU Zhuhai campus, attended the opening ceremony and delivered a welcoming speech. Honorary President of labor science education branch of ALS, one of the Labor discipline founders, Professor Zhao Lvkuan looked forward to the youth who should save “Justice" heart to the work of scientific research. Yao Hongjie, Vice President of the ALS, congratulated the participation. Liu Bin, the Deputy Director of Zhuhai human resources and Social Security Bureau, introduced related work in the field of employment and social security in Zhuhai. There are some other vice Presidents of labor science education branch attended the opening ceremony including vice President of South China Normal University Professor Li Yongjie, Dean of the public administration of Zhejiang University Professor Yao Xianguo, Dean of Labor Economics College of the Capital University of economic and business Yang Qinghe, Associate dean of the China Institute of Industrial Relations Professor Shen Qinqin. And Opening ceremony hosted by Professor Lai Desheng, the vice President of Labor Science Education branch, dean of school of Economics and Business Administration of the BNU.
 
Chinese Academy of social sciences honors Academy Professor Zhao Renwei , Professor Zhang Junsen from the Chinese University of Hong Kong, Director of the Center of Globalization and Governance in the University of Hamburg, Germany, Professor Pfau-Effinger, Dean of the public administration of Zhejiang University Professor Yao Xianguo were invited to do the opening theme reports.
 
There are eight discussion sessions concerning “Entrepreneurship, Talent and College students”, “Employment and Labor Mobility”, “Old Insurance and Medical Insurance”, “Wage, Salary and Income Distribution”, “Compensation Management and Labor Relations”, “Structure of Employment and the Labor Market”, “Social Assistance and Social Welfare”, “Human Resource Management”, as well as a labor science research forum.
 
14 teachers from the school of labor and human resource in RUC attended the conference. “Concerns of the transformation of collective labor relations and labor Sciences” from Pro. Chang Kai and “Re-thinking on social medical insurance system” from Pro. Qiu Yulin held as the closing ceremony theme reports. Pro. Tang Kuang hosted the labor science research forum. Pro. Pan Jingtang spoke and acted as group commentator in group of “Redefining Social Security and Social Welfare”. Pro. Yi Dinghong spoke and acted as group commentator in group of “Internal Wage Difference and Organization Performance”. Pro. Lin Xinqi made points in group of “Characteristics of Female in Senior Management Team and Financial Performance: An Empirical Study”. Pro. Cheng Yanyuan made points in group of “Harmonious Labor Relations Adjustment Mechanism under a World Perspective Theory”. Pro. Zhang Lihua made points in group of “Re-analysis on the Foxconn Incident under Social Network Theory”. Associate Pro. Li Lilin made a report named “Analysis on the Typical Shutdown Events in China 2004-2010”. Pro. Ding Dajian and Associate Pro. Geng Lin made a report named “Natural Observation in the Labor Market and CIER Index Study”. Associate Pro. Han Keqing made a report named “Dose ' Welfare Dependence' really Exist”. Lecture Huang Wei made a report named “The Evolution of Employment Relations and Human Resource Management in China’s Automotive Assembly and Components Industries”. Lecture Li Ying made a report named “Needs of Mental Disability Groups and Social Policy Analysis in China”.

24 best papers were selected and several of them were awarded as Excellent Paper, which including essay from Pro. Zeng Xiangquan(Cui Juexue as the first author)named “Structural Changes of RMB Appreciation and Demand for Labor”, essay from Pro. Shi Wei named “The relationship between Human Resource Management Innovation, Enterprise Innovation and Organizational Performance in Beijing: An Empirical Study”, essay from Pro. Yi Dinghong (Xu Na as the second author) named ““Internal Wage Difference and Organization Performance”, essay from lecture Huang Wei named “The Evolution of Employment Relations and Human Resource Management in China’s Automotive Assembly and Components Industries – a Case Study”, essay from lecture Li Ying named “Needs of Mental Disability Groups and Social Policy Analysis in China”, essay from Pro. Zhang Lihua (Sun Yanling as the second author) named “Re-analysis on the Foxconn Incident under Social Network Theory”, essay from Associate Pro. Li Lilin (Miao Miao, Hu Mengjie and Wu Jingyun as the second, third and forth author) named “Analysis on the Typical Shutdown Events in China 2004-2010”.
