The First Quarterly Review of China Employment was held successfully in RUC

In the morning of April 9, 2011, CIER successfully held 2011 First Quarterly Review of China Employment at Room 347 of Qiushi Building,RUC. Yin Jiankun, Deputy Director of Department of Employment Promotion of MHRSS, Hu Deqiao, Deputy Director of Department of Employment and Income Distribution,Development and Reform Commission, Zhao Yuncheng, Deputy Director of Department of Population and Employment Statistics, Zhang Zhibin, Division Chief of Department of Population and Employment Statistics, Yang Yinling, Division Chief of Department of Employment Promotion of MHRSS attended the meeting. Professor Zeng Xiangquan, Director of SLHR and CIER, Professor Zhao Zhong, Professor Cheng Yanyuan, Professor Ding Dajian, Professor LiLilin, Dr. Ge Yuhao, Dr.Cui Yuxue, Dr. Li Hongjian, Dr. Qing Shisong, Dr. Wu Qiang, Dr. Hao Yuming and other faculties and students participated in the meeting. The meeting was chaired by Professor Tang Kuang, Deputy Secretary of Party of SLHR, RUC.
 
At the beginning, Professor Zeng Xiangquan, Director of SLHR and Dean of Renmin University's School of Labor and Human Resources, briefly introduced the background and main content of the meeting. He summarized main ideas of the conference, thanked to the government's support and prospected future work at the end of the meeting.
 
At first, Professor Ding Dajian made a report entitled “The Analysis of 2011 First-quarter Chinese Labor Market Conditions-Based on the Data from Zhaopin.com and Suzhou Industrial Zone”. Associate researcher Geng Lin made a reported entitled "Association analysis between CIER index and macroeconomic performance targets".
 
Subsequently, Dr. Ge Yuhao made a report of “The Analysis of 2011 First-quarter Chinese Employment Situation and Policies”. Professor Tang Kuang made a key report introducing the project "A Longitudinal Survey on Employer-employee Matched Data in China" and a brief notification of the new situations.
 
The attended officials expressed their views and comments on the reports above. They spoke highly of the analysis and researches made by CIER in the first quarter, and made important recommendations especially on the future theme of the report, way of further cooperation and research.
