On December 7th, Ministry of Education held National Vocational College Career Guidance Experience Sharing Conference in Nibo, Zhejiang province. Ge Daokai, Director of Ministry of Education Vocational Education and Adult Education Department hosted the conference. Professor Zeng Xiangquan, Director of CIER was invited to participate in the conference, and delivered a speech entitled “Research on Employment Quality Index System of Secondary Vocational Schools in China”. Research showed that the work condition of secondary vocational school graduates in China has improved a lot, and the professional self-identity and reputation has increased. However, long work hours, low income, high pressure and inadequate company training were significant. Professor Zeng suggested that the current survey measure of secondary vocational school employment quality be improved, the execution be delegated to the third party and the survey results be released to the public. Deputy Minister Lu Xin spoke highly of the speech of Professor Zeng Xiangquan in his speech.
