The statistical tools development of national employment information monitoring is a World Bank loan project which
is undertaken by CIER and committed by MHRSS. Director of International Labor Institute of MHRSS Mo Rong,
researcher of Labor Science of MHRSS Zhang Libin, Deputy Director of Labor Science Li Lan, Deputy Director of
Department of Employment and Income Distribution Yin Jiankun, Deputy Division Director Huang Junmei and Xi
Jingwen, Deputy Director of National Employment Training Guidance Center Jiang Yu and Zuo Zhaolong attended the
meeting. Professor Zeng Xiangquan, Director of SLHR and CIER, Researcher Tang Kuang, Yi Dinghong, Geng Lin
also participated in the meeting.
The meeting was chaired by Deputy Director Yin Jiankun. Researcher Ding Dajian keynoted the convention firstly.
He made a brief introduction to the overall situation of the project development which was focused on the data
sources and database structures of the national employment information monitoring. He also described the
characteristics the advantages and disadvantages of the database structure. Next, member of project team Liu
Tingting read out the fourth project report: Statistical Analysis Report Form and Index System Designment of
Employment Information Monitoring. Member Jin Shuanglin read out the fifth project report: The Model Development
Study of Monitoring and Forecasting of Employment Information.
The participating experts fully affirmed the two report, and they made a hot discussion about the relevant problems
involved in the report. According to the relevant contents of the report, they proposed some improvements.
Director of CIER Zeng Xiangquan made a concluding remark. He affirmed the outcome of the project, as well as
the theory and realistic meaning of it. Lastly, Deputy Director Yin Jiankun appreciated the members of the project
team and the participants. He believed plenty of indicators proposed in the reports would give a great help to the
their works. And in the future they will carry out more cooperation with SLHR. |
