International Forum of Economic Globalization and Trade Union was held successfully and ceremoniously in the Great Hall of the People on April 27, hosted by All China Federation of Trade Unions. Wu Bangguo, the standing committee of CCCPC political bureau, chairman of the National People's Congress, Wang Zhaoguo, member of the CPC Central committees, president of the all-china federation of trade unions, Marex, the general secretary of World Federation of Trade Unions and Salasa, Deputy Executive Director of ILO attended the opening ceremony and made key speeches.

Professor Zeng Xiangquan, director of CIER and dean of Renmin University's school of labor and human resource, was invited and made a speech in the first round-table seminar of transform economic growth mode and improve the quality of workers.

A total of 209 people from 146 organizations attended the conference, including officials of  trade unions in 89 countries around the world.
