D from University of Wisconsin-Madison and now teaches in Xiamen University. His research areas mainly are public economics, labor economics, econometrics and American antipoverty policies and so on. He particularly concerns about labor market and welfare, and his representative papers are “A Structural Analysis of Mothers ’Work and Welfare Participation Decisions and Children’s Attainments”, “The Effects of the Expansion in the EITC Program and Welfare Time Limits on Single Mothers’ Welfare and Work Decisions”, “The Effects of Single Mothers’ Welfare and Labor Force Participation Decisions on Children’s Attainments” and so on. 3.
